Top Video Games Released in 2020

Enjoy video games while the real games on TV are on pause.

With how strange times have been now, there has never been a more perfect time to play video games. Although since we’ve been in this crazy period of 2020, many people have probably begun running out of games to play. Luckily, there are still a large number of high profile video games coming out in the coming months. Through the rest of the year, many anticipated games will finally be released on all consoles. It’ll allow you to have another excuse to pick up that controller again, while also keeping you entertained.

With the previous months having dropped games like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Nioh 2, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Resident Evil 3, Doom Eternal, Half Life Alyx, and Final Fantasy 7 to name a few, it’s been a great year for gaming so far. However it doesn’t just stop there. The rest of the year is showing to be very promising as many other games have been announced for the coming months. Hopefully having all these options will keep you entertained until these crazy chaotic times pass.

Looking forward

This month will see great games released. To begin, the most high profile game released this month is the Last of Us: Part 2. This game was initially intended to come out in may but got pushed back. Either way, that didn’t derail any hype this game has acquired. If anything, it allowed it to gain more hype. I know I’ll be getting this game as soon as I can. However there are more games coming after Last of Us 2. The remaster for Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom, Ghosts of Tsushima, Paper Mario: The Origami King, Cyberpunk 2077, and Star Wars: Squadrons will be released in the months following Last of Us: part 2. It’s sure to keep you not only busy, but entertained while you’re stuck at home.

Hopefully, these upcoming games keep you excited and combat the boredom of being stuck at home. Even if this whole ordeal ends sooner than later, might as well find fun ways to pass the time.
