TCU Alumni Events

The Alumni Center at Texas Christian University

The TCU Alumni association have many great events planned in the coming months. With COVID-19 they are all virtual events, but it is still a great chance to interact with other fellow horned frogs. Throughout the summer and September, events are held virtually, each one different than the last. Here are some of the events being hosted by the TCU Alumni Association in the next couple months. Any extra details will be available on the TCU Alumni Association website.

Austin Alumni

The first event is happening on Tuesday August 11th, and it’s the Austin Alumni movie screening. The only requirement for this event is that you’ll need a netflix account. Aside from that, the screening will be of the Netflix documentary by Ava DuVernay titled 13th. The hosts of the event will provide viewers with thought provoking questions during and after the film. It will be a great night of insightful discussion with other fellow Horned frogs.

Virtual Mixology and Mingle

The second event will be later on September 1st, and it will be a virtual Mixology and Mingle with Sledge distillery. Those who have registered will be able to access a virtual webinar cocktail making class. The class is hosted by Mark, Susan, and Evan Sledge as they walk you through a variety of Sledge family recipes. Including how they distill their spirits as well as mix two different cocktails. Those who register will also receive a taste testing kit in addition to the class for $25, or you could just sign up for the class for $10. Although you do need to register before the 14th in order to receive the test kit. Regardless, this class will be a great chance to learn something new while interacting with other Horned frog Alumni.

TCU is making sure their Alumni are still able to enjoy all things TCU. In addition they’re making sure everyone stays safe during this chaotic time. Regardless, these events are sure to be both insightful and entertaining. If you need more details regarding these events, be sure to check out the TCU Alumni Association website.
