Horned Frog 2020 Football Preview

2019 TCU vs. Texas Tech

With all NCAA sports postponed for the rest of the year, what better time to take a quick look at the TCU Horned Frogs 2020 football season. After a rocky 2019 season, the Horned Frogs are looking to rebound with a strong 2020 season. With it starting in early September, what better way than with a rematch from the 2018 Cheez-IT bowl vs Berkley.

Horned Frog Match Ups

Following that the Horned Frogs take on Prairie View A&M at home, have its lone bye week, and then face SMU at Dallas for the Iron Skillet. TCU will then kick off its Big 12 schedule with a home game vs OSU on October 5th. Following that, it will hit the road to face off against West Virginia before returning home to face Kansas State. The Horned Frogs will then have a seemingly tough mid-season as after the Kansas State game, they head to Waco to continue their Baylor rivalry. Following that game, they will host Number 1 Oklahoma, and then Iowa State that following week. TCU then returns on the road to face the Texas Longhorns and then returns home to host Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs will wrap up their Big 12 conference play by returning to the road to face the Kansas Jayhawks.

TCU seems to have a rough mid-season on paper with the 4 game gauntlet of Baylor, Oklahoma, Iowa State, and Texas. However, Campus Live is confident in our Horned Frogs to push through and pick up wins against all 4 of those teams. Every season is different but with this upcoming 2020 season, should everything work out, It should be a very successful season for the Horned Frogs.
